Another temporary intervention and a bit of fun, sprayed the mud green and the kerb white and popped in a small table tennis net. Not sure how long it will last but the conversations during the making were great, a lot of people really interested in what's happened and some great ideas for what should be installed in the LongAbout space.

Sculpting with Randoms
A challenge to the students, what can you create with a box of random materials, using the LongAbout as a paper base to work up from and taking into consideration your original ideas for the artwork.

Temporary Interventions
What better way to get the conversation going than a bit of grafitti! Using a stencil and spray chalk the LongAbout is transformed into a bed of spring flowers. A few curious people wandered over to see what was happening so it's working!

Your Voice
Time to ask 'what do you think?', cutting letters for an information board in the foyer of The Beacon with space for comment. Cards and pencils in painted pots have been supplied in the cafe for visitors and users of the centre to add their thoughts.

Sculpting with Lego
Students use lego to realise their ideas for the LongAbout artwork, transferring their drawings to 3D and working with the elongated 'sausage' shape of the LongAbout!
